Abstract: Here’s a (Young) Professional’s Guide to Getting Started (or Getting Right) with Investing: Advice from a Long-Term Market Observer and Investor.
People with money to invest have an amazing array of investment choices—far greater than even a decade ago. Does this mean that old-fashioned investments are no longer the best options, and the new products that are being offered (and touted) by financial advisers will be the best at helping you achieve your financial goals? This talk will walk you through the basics of investing, and give a clear-eyed evaluation of both the standard investments and the alternatives out there.
